Are there any places within driving distance (from FL) worth skiing? I'm thinking 16 hour drive or less from north Florida -- like the Carolinas or Tennessee.

I always loved Zona 78 when I lived in Tucson -- I felt like they had great food (Italian / brick-fired pizzas) and were reasonably priced. A nice place to take a date without breaking the bank.
