Might have to go and check it out. I hunt not to far from that area. Off the 1708 road just a couple of miles up the road from whistlin jacks.

Wow that brings back memories. We used to hunt up at Kaner Flats. Seems like we went from the Manashtash side, up and over Bald Mt., and ending up coming down Gold Creek then Whistlin' Jack's to relax. Great thread and the pictures put you right there. Nice pics! This brings back memories of a Jeeping trip we took to that area during a high-school youth-group trip years ago. Need to get back up there!
