Need more info on this. What was the land like around the ball lightning? Was there any structures behind it. Did it rain recently in the area? Was it windy or calm? Did you smell anything weird in the area after?

I would like to know. This kind of stuff interests me.

Snapped this photo Sunday 11/14/2010 it was the size of a cantaloupe and visible for 3 to 4 min .I was deer hunting in Hoosier national forest in sulfur ,IN.
Early sun rise and had rained the night before .

I've only experienced ball lightning once as a kid in Montana, best i remember it didn't last for minutes and wasn't so close. I suppose you've had some "reflection from the sun on your lens" comments, but that doesn't appear likely here. Nothing very significant to contribute except ""Wow".

Any sounds associated with it?

Looks like it's just the glare off the lens. Send it in to Monster Quest though. They'll run down anything.

I agree with it looking like glare off the lens. But if it was there 3-4 minutes... ??? Interesting.
