As a Ruben connoisseur, I must say that Brouwers used to have an excellent Ruben (top 5) but it is no long on their menu. If you know to ask, you may get it.

The best Italian restaurant I've ever been to is Cafe Vignole in Rainier Beach. I can't say enough about this place when it comes to a nice night out. It's a small restaurant where the Italian owner is your waiter and he treats every guest like their the only person in there. It's not meant to be quick food (think Olive Garden) as a full dinner with apps and desert during the busy time can take over 2 hours but that only adds to the experience.

West Seattle

If you're in West Seattle, check out the Swinery. Great butcher shop and amazing food when they're open. Try the Scotch Egg and Bacon Dog. Amazing!

We always like to eat at the Pyramid Ale house after watching a mariner game! I got a pretty sweet tap handle on the way out too.

Italian - La Spiga on Capitol Hill on 12th.

There are no other restaurants as far as I'm concerned.

Southern Kitchen in Tacoma. It will give you either diabetes or a heart attack but boy, does it taste delicious in the process.
