Your favorite dispersed or little-known camping spot less than 3 hours from Seattle?

I'm looking for some gems not too far from the Emerald City -- I want to be able to get some quick one-nighters in this summer!

I'm a fan of dispersed camping, or at least the less-know, little-used, and more remote campgrounds.

GPS coordinates included for max points!

Try the Olympic National Park. I'd suggest Mt. Rainier but there's to much traffic around here now.

Okay... so I guess I should have known people would want to keep secret their favorite camping spots on an open internet forum. Oh well.

Thanks for the tip, RBXJ.

Go check out Greenwater. It's about 70 miles from
Burien, and there are a lot of cool spots in the
area. From Enumscratch, head up 410, about 17
miles or so. Look for the right hand turn in to Snopark.
When the concrete ends just keep going. 4WD is a must
right now.

Go up by snoqualmie pass. There are a few exits that have some amazing views and fishing. As well as countless back roads. 4 wheel drive a must

Near the town of Randle there are several logging roads that take you into the area between Mt Rainer and Mt Adams.
A very nice area!

I've gone to Millersylvania in Olympia and enjoyed it there.

Highway 20. No phone service or stores. Remote and beautiful!
