Why do grocery store baggers insist on putting the heaviest and or coldest items that I've bought into my most lightweight canvas tote bags?

When did the middle lanes of a freeway (the ones in the middle if there are three lanes) become the slow lanes? It was terrible driving this weekend because I kept getting stuck behind these drivers!

Here, the outside lanes are the slow lanes. The others are for passing.

I was taught in driver's ed back in the dark ages of the 1970s that slower traffic was supposed to be in the right lane. But sometime in the past 10 years, that has changed, and I don't know if it's official law or unofficial.

They will ticket you here for driving continually in the middle lanes.
