Favorite places to eat in northern SC

I love to eat and I love taking a road trip to find places to eat.

With that said, what are some of your favorite dive/diner type places to eat in northern SC?

Some of my favorite are Harolds in Gaffeny and Courtneys BBQ in Clover.

The Lazy Goat in downtown Greenville is great & so is Stoney's BBQ in Powdersville (near Easley). Not sure if that is far enough "up" to be considered northern SC though.

Stoney's is awesome!
Huntin' Camp in Travelers Rest is also good.

My wife and I liked Stax and Stax Omega in Greenville.

We also liked the Olympian.

We had a pretty good lunch in the Cafe@ Williams Hardware the other day. Leopard Forest coffee is just a couple doors down, too.

Thaicoon in Greenville near Furman offers some good Thai food as well.

Also, if you are looking for a quick bite of the drive-in/barbecue variety, Cookout restaurant in Spartanburg is an awesome place to stop by. As the name would imply, they offer typical cook out fair of exceptional quality that tastes like something you might grill at home. It's also great for anyone on a budget, as $6 should get you more delicious food than you could ever hope to finish. I really dont know how they make any profit.
