Charleston is the place to go...the historic area pulses with a slow and mystic kind of vibe. One of the best places in the country.

South Carolina has the most kinds of BBQ in the USA. If you are a BBQ lover, this is your state!

LOL History? Charleston has tons of but if you're coming from Europe(that's where history comes from ya know) then its going to be a little young for what you are used to seeing. But walking around downtown in the spring or fall is the greatest, like right now its was cool and sunny today absolute perfection. Walking around downtown in the summer sucks tho. So timing it right is key. =)

Ya gotta go down town to the Battery. It's an historic place, nice place to walk. Patriots point is nice too. You can tour the USS Yorktown... I'm a Navy guy, so I like looking at the "way it was".

If you like scary... there are "haunted" tours in Charleston. It's called Ghost tours. Checkout bulldogtours.com. Halloween is just around the corner... could be fun.
