I liked Folly Beach in Charleston. It isnt developed and you were allowed to bring adult beverages on the beach with you. We would set up a volleyball net and bury a keg and have a blast all day long.

For something more developed we would go to Isle of Palms.

It'd be hard to find a beach I didn't like. I like the idea of being able to bury a keg though!

Folly Beach, and Isle of Palms. Isle of Palms is a far nicer beach, but Folly is more laid back.

agreed... if you wanna party (drink) and lay back with some buddies or meet some girls, then Folly is the place to go... it's more so the young and hip kinda place... but along with it being the place to meet chicks and drink and all... it comes with all the CRAP that goes along with it.... it's always dirty from drunks leavin stuff everwhere to cigarrette butts everywhere and ******* actin a fool of themselves.... on the flip side it is supposed to be some of THE top surfin on the East coast....

Isle of Palms on the other hand is a lot more family oriented (not that there's not pretty girls there too lol), cleaner, and has a GREAT place right on the beach with a rooftop bar that always has LIVE music Coconut Joe's... awesome place!

I also agree with everybody and say Folly is a nice beach to have a good time and i would'nt say it is trashy or anything, but yeah probably just not as built up as myrtle beach or isle palms
