Folly Beach is a favorite. It's the closest surf when everything lines. Never gets really big, but this year had some great days.

Sullivan's

Got to be Sullivan's island. Great beach, not many waves do the jettys though. Poe's Tavern to eat an unbelievable burger and have some drinks at doesn't hurt either.
