Snow Shoeing in the Spokane Area?

Fairly new to the area, and looking to do some snow shoeing in the Spokane Area, any ideas? Would prefer to travel 30minutes or less, not sure if this is possible though. Thank you in advance.

I have been snow shoeing up on Mount Spokane, but it has been a few years. I've been thinking about trying to get up there with a friend or two sometime this year, but haven't been able to find time. I'll take a look this afternoon and see if I can figure out where exactly we were at up there.

Take a map and draw a 25 mile diameter circle around your location. Thats your 30 minute drive. Tons of locations within that area. Cool areas south of Cheney (some old rail road trails). South side of Liberty Lake (Beacon Hill area). CDA Lake area. Lower Mt. Spokane area. Riverside state park.... Welcome to the recreational capitol of the world.

Check out this site for some maps and trail guides for Mount Spokane. The Friends of Mount Spokane State Park - Home

They aren't the best maps or directions I've ever seen, but that oughta get you going at least!
