The ability to contort/develop ones body to conform to angles just in Rock Climbing can be well enhanced by Pole Dancing and vice-versa.
Such would be honorable were it to become a Olympic Sport along the same vein as Ballet, Figure Skating, Cross Country/Endurance Running.
Jumping Rope used to be seen by some folk as a skill contest where Boxing, for example, requires such attention.
Any twit can stay on the floor and "dance" on/with a Pole, while it takes developed Skill to leave the floor and succeed where others cannot.
