Home Brew Store in the Ozarks?

I have been told by a local liquor store owner that there is a home brewing supply store in the town of Ozarks near Springfield. Is this true? Can someone verify this. Currently I get all my supplies by mail order.

There sure is: The Home Brewery - Beer and Wine Making Supplies
I moved before I got started brewing so I never had a chance to go in.

Ah, Sweet. I am going to Springfield on the 16th. I will see if I can find it. Is if on the highway, or do I have to look for it?

They are really helpful folks, and priced right, too.

To make your own beer takes patience and a little equipment, but the beer is 100X better than anything you can buy at a store if you do it right! With about 2-4 times the alcohol %! You can get a starter kit with your first beer and instructions and everything. Midwest Supplies - Home wine making supply and home brew supply available on-line at Midwest Homebrewing Supplies. Search for wine recipes and beer recipes is the most reliable and cheapest place I have seen. I have yet to find anyone with a bigger selection or better prices.

Does anyone know of a place closer to Ft. Leonard Wood? I've been wanting to start brewing for a while now.

I just finished off a batch I bought from the hombrew store in Ozark, it turned out great! Easy place to find, although I was a bit disappointed they didn't have any whole-grain supplies like any sparging equipment and the only false bottom they had was over $100
