Best grass seed for St. Louis

I want to re-seed my lawn this year. I have a lot of bald patches I think are coming from my dog. What seed does anyone use that has pets?

had a neighbor at my old house say they had something at the botanical gardens with different patches of grass that were supposed to be good for our region. He mentioned "jaguar fescue". I tried it and it seemed to be nice but I was also on a lawn treatment program too.

Instead of one of the big stores you might try a local nursery, they may have some good suggestions for you.
