Have to cross the river and try India's Oven in Swansea, IL. If you love Indian food! WOW!

House of India at 170 and Delmar in U-City....Easily the best. My wife is British and somewhat of an expert on Indian Cuisine. Been to alot in town and we always come back to House of India.

I really would love to give a good place a shot sometime. I have tried the food one time and didn't realize I was at a vegetarian place. I think that had a big effect on my experience.

India Palace at the top of the Best Western by the airport. The food is great and if you are a plane watcher not a bad view at 11 stories up.

Saffron Indian Cousine

My wife and I love Saffron near Manchester and 270.

For what it is worth, I've tried to have my wife try Indian food on numerous occasions and she has never really liked it. Once we went to Saffron she absolutely loves the Chicken Tikka Masala. It is probably a very western style dish, but it's a start.

I've never been to the others mentioned, so I can't give my opinion but I have been told that the House of India is a nice place too.

Mayuri and House of India are both very good. If you are way out west you can try Tandoori King near Winghaven, which is pretty good.
