What are you favorite places to take out of town guests?

I love to take them to the arch of course, Cards game when in season, and a day enjoying Forest Park. To eat...Pappy's and a little Crown Candy!!

You have to take them to Imo's. It's unlike anything they'll get anywhere else.

Down Hwy 94 for the wineries, Schlafly Tap Room for beer and food, and to The Hill for Italian.

Venice Cafe is awesome! Always very impressive to out of towners. Live bands and re-frickin'-dickulous decor. The WHOLE place has been mosaiced by the person who did the city museum... oh, THE CITY MUSEUM! There's one! At night on the weekends it's a bar too The Venice Cafe | Saint Louis, Missouri | 314.772.5994

If we're talking about food, definitely The Hill. Cunetto's is probably our favorite.

+1 on City Museum! The Cathedral Basilica is one of the largest mosaic works of art in the world. Amazing to look at regardless of the religious aspect. The Saint Louis Zoo is not only free, but one of the best Zoos in the country.

As far as food- +1 on Pappy's & Crown Candy. Gotta add Blues City Deli, O'Connell's Pub (especially for fish & chips on Fridays) and Lemp Mansion.

Fritz's American Grill for a burger and a bottomless mug of Rootbeer or Cream Soda!

The Lewis and Clark Boat House and Museum in St. Charles. Main Street in St. Charles.

And, it seems like everybody always wants to go to Cabela's or Bass Pro Shop, though for my outdoor dollar, I prefer Dick's

I'm fairly new to the area and I've heard people mention Crown Candy before. Is it just a candy store? Why is it so great?
