Ten Good Things in the Tallahassee Area

I'm not real gung-ho about Tallahassee, but here are ten good things to like in the area:

1. St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge
2. The scenic drive along the gulf on 98 from St. Marks to Panama City.
3. Great Pizza: Three Guys From New York Pizzaria & Mellow Mushroom
4. Museums - Florida State Museum of History, Mission San Luis, Challenger Learning Center, and Tallahassee Museum.
5. Free Shoes University
6. The town of St. Marks
7. The town of Apalachicola
8. Live Oaks and Spanish Moss
9. Melting Pot restaurant
10. Tallahassee Parks

I used to love the jazz performers at Cafe Cabernet on North Monroe, especially catching it around 8:00 before it got really busy.

I second Fermentation Lounge and would add Proof to the mix.

28 taps (I believe) with good craft selection. Pretty good prices as well.

Wakulla Springs too! And the infamous Cherokee sink that has been "Closed" for a while now... Out towards Marianna is the always fun bear paw river and the Florida Caverns State Park too.

Now that we've moved - we secretly miss the overabundance of fairly squared away Walmarts. Tally doesn't have every store you want, but the stores you need are conveniently distributed.
