Hello all. I also live in NPR. I have a 1988 yj that is a daily driver project. When I get time I will post a link to my Jeep forum thread about it.

So where are you guys wheeling at?

Alex

FJOA is a good group. They have campouts a 2-3 times a year with the spring fling near ONF the biggest I believe.

Being in the panhandle - tis a bit far.

There are a lot of FJOA people that come up there from Tampa/St. Pete area so it wouldn't be hard to find someone to tag along with.

iirc, it's hunting season in Richloam so most Jeepers leave things be between seasons.

Here's the link to Richloam Hunting Guide which gives the seasons, rules, and has a map http://www.myfwc.com/docs/Brochures/10-11_Richloam.pdf
I'll have to check that out. I wheel in Croom,Richloam,Citrus,Ocala,Tellico when it was open supose to reopen this year hopefully.

LOJ (Legion of Jeepers) is not a club but more of just a local forum based out of the Brandon area but has members all over.

I personally am a member of LOJ and those guys are very very welcoming and helping. We do something almost every weekend, whether its wheeling or something else.

All of them are good groups of people.

Thanks for the info, I might look up TBAJA!

I was a member of the flatlanders for several years, but just got tired of the $50/year that went towards family activities like food for picnics and such.. the rides thinned out, much concern over 'official ride' versus non-official ride, then I got chastised on the forum over and over for saying that one law enforcement officer we met while going to ride in a questionable area was a complete and total a-hole, whereas they believed that no LEO could ever be, and I was wrong to ever say such a thing...
