twitpic

Twitpic is shutting down on Oct. 25. I used it with my Twitter account until recently, when I discovered that I could place photos directly on my Tweets.
I had 232 photos on Twitpic from the past four years. Twitpic is allowing you to download your photos - up to 5,000 of them - until its closing. Even though I just had 200-plus, it still took 24 hours from the time I started the transfer until the download was finished. I have no idea how long a lot more photos than that would take!
I also don't know if the links on Twitter to one's Twitpics will continue to work afterwards.
