Chilifest - Texas

I've never been to College Station, but I was thinking of making the trip this Spring. Chilifest is said to be a lot of fun & my friends are trying to get me to go this year. Has anyone been?

I'm on a team with my friends this year. Apparently, you sign up for $45-$60 (depending on if you want a t-shirt or not) then eat,drink and listen to music all day long. I have never been either, but I have heard nothing but good things!

If you are doing the teams, that's per person, pretty expensive if you ask me. I think if you just go the prices are a little more reasonable.

they use to have a chilifest in san marcos that was SUPER awesome but I have never been to the CS one.

Chilifest can be a blast as long as you can pace yourself.

chilifest is crazy. If your not on a team you can only enter saturday. its alot of great music and lots of beer, so much beer you will wont be walking on grass by the time its over just beer cans. and stay out of the main crowd if you dont want beer thrown on you and want cans flying through the air at you. Its fun if you like to party, not a place for a nice family get away lol
