How far will you drive for food?

I have a friend who will drive 45 minutes for good seafood, I just wont eat seafood.

How long will you drive in this huge state to get what you want?

I drive an hour sometimes a bit more for a good meal, it takes about an hour any direction from San Angelo to get into some good eats. Kerrville, Junction, Brady, Menard, and Sonora are my usual spots to grab a bite when I am hungry for something different.

Not Texas related but,

Yesterday my family and I drove 2 hours to Syracuse, NY to the nearest Jimmy Johns for subs.

Boredom, hunger and craving make people do strange things,

I like JJ but not enough to drive 2 hours.

I guess if I was already that direction a few more miles wouldn't be an issue, or if I was just out for a drive, but man 2 hours in a car with my three year old would drive us all nuts.
