I've been intrigued with the long sea shells in the cups. I know I've seen them before, but never considered eating what is inside. Can you explain more to me? How do you break them open? Are they cooked?

You suck them out if I remember correctly, I think I've seen Andrew Zimmern eat them.

We tried some of these when we were in Jinan.

These were live and for sale a few blocks from the resturant where we ordered some to try out. They were fried and actually pretty darn good to eat.

Thought the same thing. How can you break into it or do you dig it out?
