Awesome run today. Not too difficult for those that did not wish to partake in the harder stuff. But enough of the hard stuff to challenge those that partook. Sorry no pics couldn't find the darn camera this morning. But I have mental images if you can read my mind.

Oh, now that's just disgusting! Even by my standards.

Wait...the Jeeps...mmm, rocks...no soiled shorts...bunnys with humongous ears...

agree, was a great run.

here's the photobucket link to the shots and videos i got:

Chimney Rock - Dec 4 2010

some quick highlights
- greg (xj) claims he got a flat but it held pressure from lunch time til back to circle k ??

- greg (jk) tried to take out some trees with his exo-cage. the tree won

- greg (jk) added some custom mods to his front bumper. 1 step closer to stubby stock greg?

- jim made it up the crack, crazy crazy crawl. hopefully someone got pics/video of it.

- i (rob) got stuck and landed on my hitch and diff, roughly. no breaks, but new custom designs. this was FAILing to make it up the crack. hopefully some pics/videos for that too, heh.

- randy/candy managed yet again to avoid any drama.... something is strange about that if you ask me.

again, great run all.

oh and greg (jk), i know those jks disconnects are being a pain. but in the video of you going up that semi-steep rock, the extra articulation from being disconnected is what got you up it when we got you on the right line.

right around 0:50, you stuff the driver tire but still are able to drop the passenger down to keep contact and crawl you right on up.

That run was alot of fun, thanks everyone for guiding my not quite as capable xj over some of those huge rocks. The trail was easier than some, but enough to give me a challenge, the little loop around Chimney Rock in the mini Moab section was awesome.

Yeah, I got to the tire shop and they pulled a 3 inch nail out of that tire, I don't think I picked that up on the trail, it must have been the slow leak I had. But they couldn't find where that piece of barb wire had punctured it, so I guess it fixed itself... I wish more things on my jeep would do that
