Fab work

Are there any fabricators out there that would make me a front bumper for my
Jeep without me having to give an arm and a leg up?

P.S. I want a lot of stuff so if you give me a good deal I will keep coming back.

It's a pity tools aren't lighter. We could have a tool swap set up. On the other hand I hate to borrow anything.

Let's see.........

need a planer
router
bandsaw
1/2 inch drill

have;
2 drills
4 sanders
belt sander
reciprocating saw
jigsaw
scroll saw
bench grinder
hand grinder
chop saw
shop vac

I just had a thought. Many high school metal shops and trade schools are always looking for projects their students could work on. It would cost only the metal used, and you might get a great bumper out of the deal.

Considering I used to do industrial welding on mining equipment I think I have that part down pretty well.

Hmmm, I wonder if any down here do anything like that.

Great idea Havasu. There are kids everywhere thinking they're the next Paul Jr and dying to fab rad machines. If you give them (and their teacher) an unusual but doable challenge and pay for metal stock everyone wins.
