ruger....not camping this time, but once i am familiar with the area i would love to go overnight;
"my wife and i are taking golf classes."...this is practically the basis of a potentially epic thread;
almost jk...anyone want to trade slighty damaged stock bumper for a locker .

Looks like my brother might be going after all. He's trying to decide between driving the Jeepster(needs some work) or the M151.

if it helps in making the choice, the trailhead is ~60 miles from me in the center of town.

20ish in city like roads, 40ish on hwys 77 and 79 (and of course back again). trail itself is about 20miles round trip.

saturday 8a meetup at the minit market (southeast corner of oracle and golder ranch road)

after we are all gathered, head out for florence (hwy 77 to hwy 79 to florence). its about 40 miles.

will stop at the minit market in florence to top off fuel, then less then 1mile to price road to air down and head off.

if all goes to plan, we should be getting onto the trail about 9a. lunch sometime around 11:30, and back to hwy 79 about 3p.

Both are equally lousy on the highway but the MUTT gets better gas mileage. I'm not sure what he'll bring.
