funny you should mention toast...my wife, whom is irish broguht some "tea sandwiches" to a birthday party at a park on saturday. within a hlaf hour she was getting complements on the "toastees". they were not toasted but they were crunchy

I saw some lightning on the horizon. Sooo I have come to two conclusions, either we are
going to have another wildfire or finally get some rain.

Nope rain didn't come last night. but like Havasu said the humidity spiked way up.

smelt rain overnight in the north east last night. and a nice storm all of you probably saw before sundown hovering over the rincons tonight.

i do hope its enough to at least open up redington area and/or mt lemmon.

but this nice streak of 105+ days has our pavement/valley bed too hot to let a monsoon into the city limits. at least for another week or so i bet.

just to try and help us all out, i did go wash florence dead bugs off the jeep.

lol. We washed my old ladys car so it should rain soon. I see the storm that seems to be brewing off in the distance but I just wish something would head our way.
