yup, cheaper than lockers...on the east coast before "wheelin" enterred my life we used to carry rug samples to put under wheels of any car/truck on the ice/snow, mud or sand. shag works great. I thought rug road was called that because people brought rugs to fill ruts, not that i'd litter or anything.....
They didn't fill ruts. They used them for traction.. You'll see the one hill that has them!!
last time we camped on top of a hill so it was a little windy but that was September. If we do make it all the way to turkey creek the wind won't be bad but it is all shade down in there so that is a factor. We will have to play it by ear to see where we are going to camp at.
