I think what everyone here meant to say is, despite the fact that it is called tourist season, they will actually not let us shoot you. So come on ova!

Seriously though? VT is an awesome place to do some hiking and hanging out and general. Gotta love the outdoors though. If you're coming for the shopping or likewise, you'll be sorely disappointed!

Here are a few reasons to visit Vermont... especially if you like wine and beer
BoydenValley Winery, Shelburne Vineyard, Snow Farm Vineyard (on the Champlain Islands also worth it)
Alchemist BrewPub, ThreeNeeds, VermontPub&Brewery
Best check them out for your self
And the ideal season: Fall
Well worth the drive
Not a drinker? nor skier/rider? Then everybody loves Cheese

I agree that the best season is the fall. There are usually lots of Ocktoberfests, apple picking, and other fun things to do. If you do want to do shopping I would say hit Church street in Burlington. There is a lot of good art and jewlery.

I lived in Central Europe for the better part of the decade. When my family and I decided to return to the U.S., we were drawn to Vermont for many of the reasons we loved Europe - focus on community, commitment to fresh food and beer, wonderful topography and sights. It is a great state!

Vacation in Vermont why not? It's a beautiful state with many places to see. From small towns and scenic views to wonderful cities (Burlington for one) there is something for everyone. I myself love to take the top off my Jeep and cruise around in the spring, summer and fall. There are sooo many places I have yet to see why go anywhere else? So check us out we'd love to have you.

I enjoy riding around on my motorcycle in 3 seasons and ski the 4th.
I also like crossing the Connecticut River into Brattleboro through the time warp and seeing the world as it was in 1964.
