Waterfalls and overlooks in SW VA

Ok, so I know of all the places that are on the map, but does anyone know of any more out of the place locations for nice outdoor scenery of a waterfall of scenic overlook?

Have you been to Dragon's Tooth near Catawba? It's one hell of a hike, but once you get to the top and then climb on top of the "Tooth" it's a grand view of the mountainside.

Crabtree Falls is more of Central VA, but it is the tallest waterfall east of the Mississippi.

Have you been to "Falling Springs" on US-220 just North of Covington, VA.....created entirely from springs in the area.

+1 on crabtree falls. Vey impressive when the water is up, and a great (though sometimes overpopulated) hike.

Dark Hollow Falls (closest falls to skyline drive), Doyles River Falls, Jones Run Falls, Lewis Falls, Overall Run Falls, South River Falls, and WhiteOak Canyon are all great falls in VA.

Cascade Falls is another option in Pembroke. Not much of a hike and at times can have a lot of people on it, but nevertheless another option. http://http://gilescounty.org/cascades.html

X4 on Crabtree Falls. This is a cool place to go in the winter too. Last year it was frozen from top to bottom and the water was running underneath the ice! Made for some really neat pictures.

Be well,
Richard
