Just wanted to drop a line and let everybody know that we are having a picnic at the club this Sunday. And this Sunday is the Kick off of the Masskugstemmen Contest.
Masskrugstemmen rough translation Lifting of the Stein.
Not a drinking contest. But to see who can hold a full 1 Liter beer stein at arms length the longest. Winner wins a trip to New York for the Nationals and the winner there wins a trip to Germany. Come on out and lets see what you got.

Ok next round of the Masskrugstemmen is Saturday June 11th. At the American German Club of the Palm Beaches. 5111 Lantana Rd. Doors open at 8PM entry is $20 and you keep the Masskrug. First place of this contest wins a trip to New York City to compete in the Nationals. Winner of the Nationals wins a trip to Germany to compete in the championship.

June 11th Saturday Club Doors open at 8PM come on out its gonna be a lot of fun. If you are not holding the stein cheer on the ones who are. Domestic beer and German beer on tap.

What a great night it was on Saturday.
Had a lot of people turn out and it was a blast.
3 heats in the competition 2 male and 1 female heat.
The time to beat is now just under 7 minutes and still 3 more days to compete.
