I used to go out in Westhampton at the old gorge off 66. But that was 18 years ago. When i come back up I will be going off road with a friend of mine and he knows a ton of places. i will post then(June/July).

Old Florida road is one of the last public places left.
Bring a winch, or another vehicle, you will need it.

I forgot to add, your best bet is probably to join a club. They know where all the places are, and the good clubs only wheel legal begal.

check out Northeast Association of 4WD Clubs

The bungaloo in ludlow/granby are pretty good. alot of trails. The terrain changes from some nice mud holes to some pretty tricky rock climbs. Its mostly public land. and if you happen to talk to the farmer who owns one of the ways to get in hill give you his grace and say if anyone gives you trouble to say your friends with him and they will leave you alone.

if you wanna hang out, i can show you many legal spots throughout westmass.

paulr and i are members of clubs with great people who support the sport and community, rather than give offroading a worse stigma than it already has.

OFR Sept 2011

OFR after the big storm of 2011

1 Do not run this road alone
2 Min tire should be 33"
3 lockers advised
4 Someone should have a winch
5 The second half of the road is washed out. See picture.

Bottom line Join a club! www.nova4x4.org
