Ale Through The Ages

I've seen a few brew topics on here, so I thought I would mention about some educational and fun classes I've been taking at Discovery World in down town Milwaukee.

A different ale topic each month, first class they lecture and brew the beer and the second class you bottle and take some home.

Here's the Link:

Ale through the Ages: The Anthropology & Archaeology of Brewing

Enjoy!

I have a couple of friends that are into brewing beer.
I've had some really great beers that they have made.
I think I might have to check this out!

I homebrew and this looks really cool. Homebrew is pretty easy. Easier than you think.

Thanks!

I was curious if we could add some micro brews that we enjoy and others may not have heard of?? If this is a hijacking feel free to delete.

I've always wanted to try to brew my own beer. One of my best friends brewed a huge batch a few years back. I asked him if it was good. He said some was OK but most of it was just putrid awful. I asked him if he felt bad having to dump most of it. He replied "Oh no, I just choked it all down". Good old Tom, what a guy!!

I have a friend that home brews often and all of his stuff is excellent. He's all about keeping everything sanitary throughout the whole process which makes a huge difference in the end product.
