I did some training with the military over in Guernsey a couple years ago. We went and hiked part of the oregon trail. Kinda cool seeing the old wagon ruts. Makes you realize just how hard they had it back then. There is also a state park out there with a beautiful lake. Can't remember what it is called though, but it is right outside of guernsey.

Man, this is a tough decision. Wyoming is a gorgeous place to hike, but you need to know the area. We have everything from the Grand Tetons to Yellowstone to Medicine Wheel and a number of water falls and other cool hiking destinations. I'd recommend just getting a wyoming hiking guide if you're not settled on a particular area of the state. Once you narrow it down ask us and we'll give you tons of suggestions.

I agree. No one knows what a "hike" means to you.

Are you looking for a nice half day walk or a serious multi day excursion?
