Social Groups near Evanston, Wyoming

My wife and I just moved here from California. Are there any functions for adults to make friends, groups or sewing circles, anyhting? Our neighborhood is older and our neighbors are nice, just no where near our age. I am a manager at work, so hanging out with coworkers is not going to happen.

Making friends as an adult is hard.

I know how you feel, it is a lot harder as an adult than as a college age kid. I have made a real effort to join groups and get involved in anything I'm interested in. As with most social situations, once you meet one cool person, they then introduce you to others.

Check out any kind of groups on Facebook based on your location, I would guess that there would be an active outdoor community if that is what you're into.

It has been a little challenging but we're getting well acquainted.
