The Blessing of the Fleet is an event that has served as tradition for more than four decades and is composed of three days. It attracts thousands from the locality of Darien and the fleet tradition started 100 years ago. It happens in the Mediterranean ports used for fishing to believe that it would give everyone an entire year of prosperity and safety.

The attractions included during the event are live musical entertainment, carnivals, a lot of booth of various vendors and even a 5k run exclusive for the Darien locals. It also holds a beauty pageant that awards the winner a scholarship. The rest of the activities featured are sure to be wholesome and perfect to be experienced by the entire family.
