The Buck Shoals State Park is a state park and recreation area in Helen, Georgia. It is best known for its annual special events, which are widely noted and attended by the public.

The Buck Shoals State Park has once been largely a water-accessed park for the longest time. Luckily, with some improvements in the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, State Parks and Historic Sites, the park was improved and now offers additional amenities aside from the beach access it has once offered.

The Buck Shoals State Park is largely frequented for its Youth Fishing Days at Buck Shoals, which takes place every third Saturday of the month all throughout the summer season. The site also hosts other events aside from this one.
