The Summer Waves Water Park is managed by the Jekyll Island Authority and offers numerous aquatic attractions for its visitors. One of the most popular attractions of the water park would no doubt be the Frantic Atlantic, which is a 500,000-gallon wave pool that features waves reaching up to four feet in height. Equally popular is the Nature?s Revenge, which features a pair of forty-foot tall slides that are aptly named as the Tornado and the Hurricane. They feature exciting twists and 360-degree turns that are sure to make you dizzy in excitement. For the more adventurous, there?s also the Pirate?s Passage, which a fast and furious five-story-tall tube slide that?s 300 feet in length.

For those who want to have some group fun, check out the triple slides of Force 3 or the family adventure offered by the 350-foot-long Flash Flood. At the Thunder and Lighting ride, the double slides are short but fun, at 150 feet in length and completely covered.

Those who wish for a more leisurely day, however, need not feel left out because the Summer Waves Water Park also has several attractions to offer them. There?s the Turtle creek, for one, which allows visitors to coast along in a river that?s half-mile long and at a gentle, turtle-like pace.
