The Bishop Museum and Planetarium in Honolulu is one of the best museum in Hawaii. It is Hawaii's state museum and it holds the greatest collection of Polynesian crafts and arts. They also have one of the most important artifacts of Hawaii which are the "Kahilis" or feathered royal standards. These kahilis served as royalty flags from the past governments. Capes and other royal stuff are among the highlights of this museum.

There is also a huge collection of artifacts from different parts of the world. They have collections from different countries like China, Philippines, Germany, Portugal, Korea, and other early settlers.

The Bishop Museum and Planetarium also shows great whaling artifacts. These add up to the museum's natural attraction.

The museum is always open everyday from Mondays to Sundays at 9am to 5 pm and is closed during holidays. The entrance fee for adlts is $8.50, $7 for senior citizens, and $5.50 for children. Children below three years old are free.
