The Lyman Museum started as a missionary home set in the style of the New England culture way back in 1839. It is a great reflection of the ancient roots of Sarah and David Lyman. This Hilo museum serves as home to a wide collection of fine art pieces, memorable artifacts and other items that serve as the history tellers of the place.

The visitors of the Lyman House Museum are offered with two primary facilities and one of these is the Mission House which dates back to about 150 years ago.
