The Maui Arts & Cultural Center opened its doors to the public in 1994, and the museum served as a pinnacle of a 30 year dream of the people of Maui. The Museum then serves as a place where people of the community could gather and celebrate together, serves as a fine place where the world?s most famous artists could be enjoyed watching at and a remarkable educational means serving everyone.

A lot of generous people showed there remarkable faith by contributing over $32 million to form the non-profit Mau Arts and Cultural Center. The museum accommodates more than 260,000 visitors a year through approximately 1,800 activities and events like major music and theater productions, storytelling, hula, ballet, symphony, drama, children art, popular music, slack key guitar and many more. The museum also is a frequent venue for important gatherings like school events, community meetings and also weddings.

Everyone is welcome in the museum; the Maui Arts & Cultural Center has its responsibility to maintain the quality of the building, facility and staff. The museum is committed to excellence in all of their activities.
