The Maui Tropical Plantation is not just for show. It?s a sixty-acre fully-working plantation that grows numerous tropical flowers and exotic fruits such as Malaysian starfruit, kamiya papaya, guava, taro, and dwarf Brazilian apple bananas. Of course, old favorites like pineapples, mangoes, and coconuts are also present.

The best way to tour the vast plantation is by taking one of the narrated tram tours. It takes approximately thirty-five to forty-five minutes to complete and is both educational and entertaining. And don?t worry, you?ll enjoy lots of free tastes throughout the tour.

Besides Maui, Honolulu, and Waikiki, which are probably the most well-known areas in Hawaii, you should also take the time to visit other lesser known areas that are just as beautiful. Get started with places like Kaanapali, Wailea, and Lahaina.
