The Oahu Cemetery is where the remains of the ancient residents of the place of Honolulu lay buried. From politicians, athletes, politicians, philosophers and many more – you can all find their burial grounds in this cemetery. It even expanded through time and was popularly known as Nu’uanu Cemetery. It served as the first ever public cemetery which can be found in Honolulu and started in 1844.

The graveyard is set in Victorian style and serves as the resting place of the most prominent Hawaiian personalities that help make the history of the place. It also has a collection of fine art funerary pieces which can be found in the Pacific.
