I've got a friend who has worked for Doctor Bird since 1992 and has given me tours of the ranch and birds private museum before and after he opened it to the public. Doctor Birds museum has a great collection of antique and vintage planes and the history of Doctor Birds father in the evolution of respirators in WW2 high altitude flying and later with Doctor Birds introduction of the artificial resirators for medical applications. Well worth your time!
