The Boise State University Vertebrate Museum can be found in the second floor of the Science Nursing building of the university. The exhibits features numerous specimens of various mammals, amphibians, reptiles and a lot more. They put on display ideal representations of species in the local level along with some limited amount of specimens of the exotic ones.

The museum serves its purpose of teaching mammology, natural history and ornithology to students and serve to be a great source of research. It serves all at the same time as a research center and a museum that attracts a lot of tourists and local travelers on a yearly basis. You can also find lots of students of the Boise State University around the area.
