Potatoes, potatoes ? there are potatoes everywhere! Where else can you find a potato museum but in the ?potato capital? of the US, the state of Idaho!

Located at downtown Blackfoot, the museum proudly displays this humble crop. This is both a tribute and a celebration of the contribution of this ?Idaho gold? to the economic growth of the state. The museum opened in 1990 at the old Oregon Short Line Railroad. Since then, it has regaled countless visitors about the rich history of the potato industry.

Visitors can visit the museum from Monday to Friday and learn so much about the potato industry ? from planting to harvesting, to nutrition and other potato facts. They can also find the largest potato chip, the 25 x 14-inch potato chip made by Pringles Company.
