The main site of the Spalding is where the second mission of Rev. Spalding along with his wife was built. His wife?s name was Eliza and they built it way back in 1838. It served as Presbyterian mission home to the first printing press of Idaho and many Nez Perce Indians and other Spaldings were buried in its cemetery.
