The Northern Pacific Depot Railroad Museum is found in a depot that is set in chateau style right in central Wallace of Idaho. It was created right at the turn of the century using the most unique of materials with some from tailings from mines. Its exhibits include the recreation of a railroad depot during the 1900s along with several railway relics and images that tell of the wonderful history of the railroad.

The historical depot where it is located is listed under the National Register of Historical Places. Upon your visit to the museum, you would feel as if you are transported back in time when railroads were the primary modes of transportation. You can also see a glass map that measures about 13 feet.
