This is a really fun place to go to see Old West history. It is an old mining town where private owners have fixed up the houses and stores. Go when they have their Open House (Second weekend after Labor Day weekend); you can tour the houses and stores and then eat lunch at the hotel. Check out the website. It is a gravel/dirt road to get there in pretty good condition but I wouldn't take a low-rider. ATV's are a really great way to get there with lot's of trails. The town is open about Memorial Day weekend through September.
