The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum is a museum that showcases the life of Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States of America. It aims to teach America about the life of Lincoln, while appreciating the lifestyle of his time.

The museum showcases large dioramas of the house where Lincoln grew up, the White House areas, pictures, memorabilia, Ford’s theater Presidential box, the settings of the main event’s in his life as a President, and artifacts. The museum opened on the 12th of April, 2005.

The Lincoln Presidential Library, as the name implies, is a library intended for research because it is the home of books, artifacts, documents, and historical papers that helped shape America. This museum also serves as a first class depository for books and other reading materials, pamphlets, magazines, and a host of other printed materials that are related part and parcel to the history of the United States.

The library open for the public, however, the rare collection it carries is not for circulation. The library was opened on a much earlier date, October 14, 2004.
