The Apple River Canyon State Park is state recreational facility and state park located in Apple Canyon, Illinois. It located in northwest Illinois in Jo Daviess County and is part of the Illinois State Park system. It is managed by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.

The Apple Canyon River State park is located in a scenic canyon area carved by the water action of the Apple River. The park features many geological features unique to his area including limestone bluffs, deep ravines, springs, and streams. There is also a healthy collection of natural wildlife and vegetation for visitors to observe.

The park is located in a 297 acre area purchased by the state in 1932. It is also the management center of several other parks in the area.
